Hydrologic Cycle

Desert

Death.

She curls up little creature coiled

Head to knee, lips to breast

Prayer in chest.

She battens all hatches down

Closes doors, Pushes walls

Burning bridges.

She falls

Like Niagara

Into the ocean,

Water under the bridge.

Birthed by womb

Birthed by font

Anointed with yearning.

Oil and water not mixing.

She waits to evaporate

To re-transcend

hydrologic.

She curls up little creature coiled

Head to knee, lips to breast

Prayer in chest.

Shoulder blades.  Wings,

issued soon enough.

Tears reign

Reservoirs

Life.
